What is Bitshares?

Bitshares is a Decentralised Autonomous Corporation that uses the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) governance system instead of the traditional Proof of Work (POW) used by bitcoin. The Bitshares has a core token BTS which is used to pay for fees on the network.
What DPOS means is that every bitshares stakeholder has a stake in the governance of the network, this stake is used to vote in delegates(committee) and block producers (witnesses) who ensure the smooth running of the network.

Ecurrency merchant is back

The last time I posted on this blog was in December 4years ago, so much has happened to me since then, in truth I must say that much of my crypto currency experience since then has not been as I expected in other words it has been a difficult crypto journey for me, but that is what happens when you are crypto newbie especially when you have no one to guide you, you get lost in the wilderness.

However I have now gathered so much experience now 4years on from my tumultuous journey; fate has brought me back once again to this blog, and now I'll continue from where I stopped with even better ideas than before, I have now switched from HYIP and other crooked investments that discouraged my crypto venture to full time holding and trading of bitshares, I'll come to that in coming posts.

It's nice to be back, I must say despite my tough journey I believe I am much better than 4 years ago when I first began...
